General Considerations:

  • Verify all local code requirements
  • Batting insulation is preferred, Use vapor barrier only when required.
  • Always use maximum value for cavity.
  • Insulate ALL cavities.
  • Do not over stuff.  Material should not be forced or compressed. 
  • Under no circumstances is bagged or enclosed insulation allowable.
