GENERAL ASSEMBLY GUIDELINES
FOR SOUND CONTROL WINDOW

Verify all conditions, building regulations, fire codes, before placing this window. Installers or fabricators, are responsible for the overall performance and suitability of window.
• Glue 1 lb. Vinyl barrier to jamb.
• Apply acoustical caulking to frame opening, then place 1/2” soundboard.
• Install jamb assembly.
• Fill and seal all voids to insure a complete air seal around jamb.
• 4” space between glass is preferred at bottom.
• Caulk stop when attaching to jamb to insure a full air seal between jamb and stop. Be careful not to get caulk on rubber gasket.
• When installing outside stop it is critical that pressure is applied to insure a tight fit between glass and rubber gasket.
• Absorber wrapped in fabric acts as pressure zone and increases efficiency. Homosote board is preference.
